I found the Berserk series on the wiki with three potential candidate, one of them being Guts. I inadvertently took permission from Elmtree7945 by discussing what could happen to a Shonen Villain "if" they were to be the Ultimate Good of the work.

Why he doesn't count?[]
Even though he meets the criteria as a SV on paper due to his declaration of war on Griffith/Femto and the majority of the Hand of God, it was portrayed as too noble for a big-end goal for he wanted to avenge the Hawk Band after their's sacrifice. Not to mention Bureaucrat and Administrator Ferrari Fan 488, had originally pointed out Guts is ultimately too much of a light shade of black to qualify. Despite his inconsistencies, he's shedding his morally ambiguous traits to become a full-fledge hero, who's more willing to protect his friends rather be blinded by vengeance. Which proves The new main of Ferrari Fan's statement of why he should not qualify. He could also be compared with Heinz Doofenshmirtz from Phineas and Ferb who also has an emotionally scarring backstory. Another similarity of a character with a corrupted moral agency has to be Ice King/Simon Petrikov from Adventure Time. What stands out between the three is the fact that Heinz is not a Seinen Hero... yet. To support the details of why he doesn't qualify is that Guts and Griffith are primary Foils in the setting of Berserk.
Conclusion[]
He's a non-villain who'd probably end up being one of if not THE Ultimate Good of Berserk as he's currently being morally unambiguous due to his heroic deeds being more consistent. Let's see what happens to the quote once his name is off the list. If this removal gets approved I could place him on the same archetype wiki as Shadow from the Sonic Games (Another MB and SH).
