Goro Akechi is the secondary antagonist of Persona 5. He is a teenage detective and celebrity, as well as the bastard son of Masayoshi Shido. He temporarily joined the Phantom Thieves but betrayed them and showed his true nature. He is famously voiced by Robbie Daymond in the English dub. Also, he’s a meme on tumblr

What makes him a shonen villain?[]
- Anti-Villainous: He caused at least 100 deaths via car and train accidents (with the psychotic breakdowns)
- Powerful: Just like Joker/Ren Amamiya, he has the wild card ability. The ability lets him use many personas and he can induce psychotic breakdowns using a specific persona
- Pursues a big end goal: Akechi’s main goal is to get revenge on his father, Masayoshi Shido
- Intelligent: He’s a skilled detective who’s a high schooler
- Ruthless: He has no problem commiting murder
- Short-tempered: He threw a tantrum in front of the Phamtom Thieves
- Laughably evil: “Oh, am I mistaken? I thought I heard something about delicious pancakes...”
- Tragic: He was a child as a result of r#pe and his mother committed suicide due to him being a bastard son. Also, he had no friends as a kid
