Minions: The Rise of Gru is a 2022 animated film by Illumination and a sequel to 2015's Minions. It centers on the young Felonious Gru who wants to join a group of supervillains called the Vicious 6.
Who is she?[]
Belle Bottom is the main antagonist of the film. She is a disco-themed supervillain and the new leader of the Vicious 6, the worst group of supervillains in the world.

Basic Traits[]
- Villainous: She has committed countless atrocities, which include stealing the map for the Zodiac Stone, usurping Wild Knuckles as the leader of the Vicious 6, rejecting Gru's application to join the Vicious 6 due to being too young, trying to kill Gru after stealing the Zodiac Stone, trying to kill Wild Knuckles after finding out he's alive, and trying to kill Kevin, Stuart, Bob and the other Minions.
- Powerful/Skillful: She is an extremely powerful supervillain and one of the greatest fighters of her generation, being very skilled at using her chain-lasso and having the ability to transform into a dragon with her Zodiac Stone powers and breathe fire.
- Power-Hungry: She usurps Wild Knuckles as the leader of the Vicious 6 just because he is old and she thinks the Vicious 6 needs a new leader, and she also seeks to achieve world domination as the world's most powerful villain alongside her team.
- Pursues a Big-End Goal: Her goal is to use the Zodiac Stone to make herself and the Vicious 6 the most powerful villains in the world.
- Arrogant: She arrogantly believes that Gru doesn't stand a chance against her since he is just a kid, but ultimately ends up underestimating him.
- Intelligent: She is highly intelligent, being a skilled strategist and manipulator who displays cunning and strategic thinking.
- Cold-Hearted/Ruthless: She is very ruthless and immoral.
- Short-Tempered: She is shown to be pretty irritable at times.
- Laughably Evil: She is portrayed in an over-the-top manner as a parody of '70s pop culture, and despite being taken more seriously than other Despicable Me villains is not without comedic moments, such as getting miffed by Marlena Gru and her defeat and rebuking of her teammates as a mouse.
- Psychopathic: She is willing to cause complete chaos and mass destruction to get what she wants, no matter whose lives it may harm.
- Narcissistic: She is shown to be incredibly egotistical.
- Has a Sinister Laugh: She laughs evilly several times.
Bonus Traits[]
- Sadistic: She takes pleasure in destroying Wild Knuckles' house, and tying Gru to the hands of a clock to be torn apart even after getting what she wanted.
- Has Incompetent Minions: Her fellow Vicious 6 teammates all ultimately fail to help her take over the world and kill Gru, Wild Knuckles, and the Minions.
- Serves as a Foil to the Hero/Protagonist: She can be seen as a dark foil and reflection to Kevin and Gru, respectively:
- Belle and Kevin are according to Gru, both idiots and wannabes who start off as second-in-commands to their respective leaders. Unlike Belle, however, who betrayed and took Wild Knuckles for granted so she could be almighty for world domination with her team via Zodiac Stone because she makes it like "loyalty" never exists, Kevin still remains absolute loyal to Gru because all he and his tribe ever wanted was to serve a master and have a home and perfect boss, which Belle will never learn to have. If Kevin ever ditched his tribe, tried to do everything just for himself, and never cared about his friends and Gru, he would've ended up like Belle.
- Belle and Gru are villains and leaders to their teams (Minions and the Vicious 6). However unlike Belle, Gru is loyal to his minions despite getting mad at them but forgives them. Belle doesn’t treat her team well, for example intimidating Jean Clawed. If Gru was never loyal to the minions or never forgave them, he would've ended up like Belle.
- Bloodthirsty: She is willing to kill hundreds of people to accomplish her goals, and at the climax tries to kill Gru in a very horrific way, via tying him onto a clock and having the hands stretch his arms until they cracked; what makes this worse is that he was only a child at the time.
- Is a Secondary-Color Nemesis: Her attire uses different shades of purple.
- Is a Dark Lord: She influences her fellow Vicious 6 teammates into striving to become the most powerful villains in the world with the Zodiac Stone.
- Has Black Air Force Energy: She is described as rude, sassy, egotistical and immoral, having no qualms with letting Wild Knuckles fall to his death and take his place as the Vicious 6's leader, and causing mass chaos and destruction in order to accomplish her goals.
- Immature: She is shown to be petty, as seen when she ties Gru to the hands of a clock to be torn apart even after she got what she wanted.
