“ | Him? You think the... Chicken Man? What a joke. Alvarez has been paying me for years. Years, but you know what? I would've done it for free because I hate every last one of you psycho. Sacks. Of shit. I opened Lalo's gate. And I would do it again, and I'm glad what they did to him. He's a soulless pig. And I wish I killed him with my own hands, and you know what else, Hector? I put you in that chair. Oh yeah, your heart meds? I switched them for sugar pills. You were dead and buried, and I had to watch this asshole bring you back. So when you are sitting in your shitty nursing home, and you're sucking down on your Jell-O night after night for the rest of your life, you think of me!' You twisted FUCK! | „ |

Ignacio "Nacho" Varga is a major protagonist in the 2015 series Better Call Saul, a prequel to Breaking Bad. He is a Salamanca lieutenant and the right-hand of the bloodthirsty and ill-tempered Tuco Salamanca who wants to protect his beloved father Manuel from the Cartel at all costs and seek redemption in his life after being forced to do Gus' bidding only to be betrayed by him later on.
He was portrayed by Michael Mando.
What Makes Him A Shonen Villain?[]
- Villainous/Anti-Villainous: He forced Jimmy McGill to remain silent about his criminal record, opened the gates for a group of assassins to attack Lalo (which got a teenager, cook and gardener killed as a result) and brutally beat Krazy-8 on Hector's orders.
- Powerful/Skillful: He is a highly skilled Salamanca lieutenant who is fluent in Spanish, has gun expertise and is a talented fighter/combatant.
- Power-Hungry: He told Don Eladio that he craves respect and nothing else.
- Pursues a Big-End Goal: His main goal is to protect his father from the Cartel.
- Arrogant: He boasts about his actions in his final moments.
- Intelligent: He was able to talk Tuco out of torturing two skateboarders to death, remains cool even when Gus forces him to do his bidding and killed himself to make sure his father wouldn't die at the Cartel's hands.
- Cold-Hearted/Ruthless: Whether he's a hero or villain, he is willing to assault and kill people.
- Sadistic: Before he made his heroic sacrifice to ensure his father's safety, he shamelessly mocked Hector about his disability.
- Tragic Past: His role in aiding Tuco in his drug dealings led to his father being targeted by the Cartel, causing Nacho to put immense pressure on himself to save his father.
- Bloodthirsty: He displays lethality at times.
- Has Black Air Force Energy: He is an unpredictable criminal who will commit crimes in the blink of an eye.
