Kevin Anderson, also known as O-Dog, is the villain deuteragonist of Menace II Society. He was portrayed by Larenz Tate.

What Makes Him a Shonen Villain?[]

  • Villainous: O-Dog fatally shoots convenience store owner for saying something about his mother, robs him by taking cash out his pockets and demands the store owner's wife to give him the tape, before killing her as well just for screaming.
  • Skillful: O-Dog is shown to be very skilled at shooting guns.
  • Pursues a Big-End Goal: O-Dog wants to help Caine avenge his cousin Harold by killing his murderers.
  • Power-Hungry: O-Dog wants to be a rich movie star after selling the robbery tape.
  • Ruthless: While he genuinely cares about his friends and is fairly respectful with elderly people, O-Dog is a murderous psychopath who has no issue with killing people unprovoked.
  • Short-Tempered: Even without being provoked, O-Dog can be easily triggered enough to kill anyone.
  • Laughably Evil: O-Dog has moments of being playful with his friends.
  • Psychopathic: Though he cares for his friends, O-Dog is nearly devoid of empathy, is emotionally immature, egotistical and takes pleasure hurting innocent people.
  • Sadistic: O-Dog seems to take pleasure in killing people.
  • Serves as a Foil to the Protagonist: In several ways, O-Dog is the opposite of his best friend Caine.
    • While Caine has moral standards about killing children and elderly people, O-Dog has no issue with killing literally anyone.
    • Caine begins to realize that the street life isn't as glamorous as he thought. Meanwhile, O-Dog is pretty content with being a gangster.
    • Caine doesn't feel happiness in killing his cousin's murderers whereas O-Dog gets joy out of killing enemies and innocent victims.
