Powder, better known as Jinx, is a villainous character in the 2009 multiplayer fighting video game League of Legends. She is the adoptive daughter of Silco and the sister of Vi who was originally a nice child before turning evil due to turning mentally unstable for unknown reasons.
She is voiced by Sarah Anne Williams.
What Makes Her a Shonen Villain?[]
- Villainous/Anti-Villainous: She has gone on a killing spree where she slaughtered hundreds of innocent civilians, with some of her murders being brutal such as blowing up enemies with her rocket launcher. She also caused mass mayhem in Zaun by orchestrating stampedes that endangered countless lives, and she's likely the one who enabled the conflict between Zaun and Piltover, which later culminated in Urgot trying to start a blood-filled war between the two cities.
- Powerful/Skillful: She is good at what she does and was able to construct various contraptions, weapons and gadgets all on her own.
- Power-Hungry: She loves the power she has other overs and seeks more of it with every murder she commits.
- Pursues a Big-End Goal: Her main goal is to wreak havoc across Piltover.
- Arrogant: She brags about how she breaks rules, building and people.
- Intelligent: She is shown to be a genius, as she built numerous weapons, managed to make Piltover fear her and pulling skilled pranks on others.
- Cold-Hearted/Ruthless: Unlike her Arcane counterpart, the original version of Jinx is shown to be even more callous and uncaring about the damage she causes.
- Short-Tempered: She frequently loses her temper and goes around doing what she likes, even if it means risking many lives.
- Laughably Evil: She is a comic relief who lightens the dark tone of the game.
- Has a Sinister Laugh: She laughs evilly several times throughout the game.
- Sadistic: She takes pleasure in the deaths and bloodshed she causes.
- Tragic Past: Her parents were killed when she was young, leaving her orphaned for years. Originally a sweet and kind girl, she eventually suffered a mental breakdown that moulded her into a psychotic maniac.
- Serves as a Foil to the Hero/Protagonist: She is the evil counterpart of her sister Vi, who is heroic in comparison to Jinx who is villainous.
- Bloodthirsty: She loves being violent and causing trouble anywhere she goes.
- Is a Secondary-Color Nemesis: Some of her attire is purple.
- Is a Dark Lord: Her role in causing the conflict between Zaun and Piltover pushed Urgot, a PE villain, to try starting a war amongst the two cities despite knowing millions of people would die on both sides.
- Calls Out Attacks: She says this when firing her rocket launcher:
- "LIFT OFF!!!"
- Has Black Air Force Energy: She admits to breaking the rules for fun.
- Immature: She has the demeanor of a little girl.
