Howard Howe is the main antagonist of the 2014 horror/comedy film Tusk by Kevin Smith. He is a serial killer and a former sailor who has a disturbing fascination with walruses. He was portrayed by the late Michael Parks.

What Makes Him A Shonen Villain?[]

  • Villainous/Anti-Villainous: He killed lots of people and tries to turn a person into a walrus.
  • Powerful/Skillful: As a scientist, he's quite skillfull.
  • Pursues a Big-End Goal: To return his long-lost walrus companion.
  • Intelligent: Of course, he is. He quite successfully turns at least one person into a walrus.
  • Cold-Hearted/Ruthless: Towards his victims.
  • Psychopathic: And how else such a person can be described?
  • Tragic Past: His parents were killed in front of him when he was a child. After that he ended up in an orphanage, where he was constantly abused and raped.
  • Is a Game Changer: While the film continues to be partially comedic even after he appears, before he appears it's easy to think that you are watching a complete comedy.
