Honoria Waynflete is the sole antagonist of Agatha Christie's 1939 mystery novel Murder is Easy. She's an old lady, who was once Gordon's fiancé, but they divorced, when Honoria's canary was murdered.
What Makes Her A Shonen Villain?[]
- Villainous/Anti-Villainous: Is a cruel serial murderer.
- Powerful/Skillful: Skillfully manipulates people and also is a good librarian.
- Pursues a Big-End Goal: To paint her ex-fiancé (Gordon the rich man) as a serial killer.
- Arrogant: Her main goal is to make revenge on Gordon for divorcing her even despite she is herself to blame.
- Intelligent: Definitely is.
- Cold-Hearted/Ruthless: Some of her victims were never in conflict with Gordon.
- Short-Tempered: When Bridget fights back.
- Psychopathic: Kills lots of people just to frame Gordon. Has no moral agency issues as she at least knows that murder is illegal.
- Sadistic: Takes pleasure from killing.
- Serves as a Foil to the Hero/Protagonist: Both Honoria and Bridget stop dating with Gordon. But Bridget meets Luke and sincerely loves him. Gordon is okay.
- Bloodthirsty: Even before Gordon divorced her, she was already a murderer.
