Frederick Bosner, also known as Eric Leidner is the main antagonist of Agatha Christie's novel Murder in Mesopotamia. He is a former spy, who escaped the prison to remarry his former wife Louise and became an arcaeologist.
What Makes Him A Shonen Villain?[]
- Villainous/Anti-Villainous: Pursues his wife for years to remarry; kills her when she wants to go away from him; gives Miss Johnson a brutal death.
- Powerful/Skillful: He is a professional archaeologist.
- Pursues a Big-End Goal: To return to his wife.
- Arrogant: And how else can be called a person, who wants to remarry his wife?
- Intelligent: His plan to kill his wife was perfect.
- Cold-Hearted/Ruthless: And how else such a person can be called?
- Psychopathic: He is a complete psychopath.
- Sadistic: He killed his wife for not wanting to be with him.
- Freudian Excuse: While it's a very weak justification (if justification at all) of his actions, he still loves his wife.
- Bloodthirsty: He gives Miss Johnson acid instead of water just for deducing him.
