The problem won't just be slowed down, it will be solved permanently
~ Dr. Sienna Brooks

Dr. Sienna Brooks, born Felicity S. Brooks, is the main antagonist of the Dan Brown novel Inferno and the film adaptation of the same name. She was the lover of madman geneticist Bertrand Zobrist and plans to carry out his work posthumously by releasing his Inferno virus upon humanity.

In the film, she was portrayed by Felicity Jones.

What Makes Her Shonen Villain?[]

  • Villainous/Anti-Villainous: Attempts to launch a virus to destroy humanity.
  • Powerful/Skillful: As a scientist.
  • Pursues a Big-End Goal: To launch the Inferno Virus.
  • Intelligent: Sienna is a hugely clever person.
  • Cold-Hearted/Ruthless: Towards Langdon at least.
  • Psychopathic: Only a complete psychopath wants to do what Sienna wants, no matter what goals.
  • Tragic Past: Her book version was raped.
  • Freudian Excuse: A rare villain to have both previous situation and this, but even in the films, she even wants to release the Inferno virus only because Zobrist (to whom she is loyal) wanted to.
  • Is a Game Changer: From the certain point of view. While the novels and films were serious enough even before Sienna appeared and she doesn't directly change the in-story atmosphere, but she is definitely the only villain in the novels about Robert Langdon, who literally wants to destroy humanity (or, at least, to bring serious harm).
